Nicki Minaj Set To Join Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann & Nikolaj Coster-Waldau In ‘The Other Woman’

The Hollywood Reporter bring word that Nicki Minaj is final negotiations to make her live-action movie debut, joining the cast of 20th Century Fox’s revenge comedy, ‘The Other Woman.’ The film has Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Kate Upton pegged to star. Nick Cassavetes is directing the comedy, which centers on a woman (Diaz) who finds out that she is “the other woman” in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the cheating cad of a husband, being played by Coster-Waldau.
Nicki Minaj will play reportedly play Cameron Diaz’s opinionated assistant at a law firm, a woman on her third marriage. Minaj currently appears on ‘American Idol’ as one of the judges and has voiced a character in ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift.’ Julie Yorn is producing the project, which was written by Melissa Stack and will shoot in late spring/early summer in New York.
Voice Cast & Synopsis Revealed For ‘Rio 2′ – Starring Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg & Jamie Foxx

Twentieth Century Fox has announced the full voice cast for their upcoming ‘Rio 2,’ which is pencilled in for a April 11th, 2014 release. Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Jemaine Clement, will.i.am, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro, Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto, Jake T. Austin and Jamie Foxx are all returning with new cast members set to include Andy Garcia, Bruno Mars, Kristin Chenoweth, Rita Moreno, Amandla Stenberg, Rachel Crow, Pierce Gagnon and Natalie Morales. Carlos Saldanha, who was inspired to create ‘Rio’ based upon his experiences growing up in that city, is back as director, as are producers John C. Donkin and Bruce Anderson.
In ‘Rio 2,’ we find Blu, Jewel and their three kids living the perfect domesticated life in that magical city. When Jewel decides the kids need to learn to live like real birds, she insists the family venture into the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in with his new neighbors, he worries he may lose Jewel and the kids to the call of the wild. Brazilian music legend and ‘Rio’ executive music producer Sergio Mendes also returns along with composer John Powell. ‘Rio 2′ will feature new Brazilian artists and original music by Janelle Monáe and The Wondaland Arts Society, who also voices a role in the film.
