Liam Neeson Interview For ‘The Grey’
Jan 26th
In ‘The Grey,’ Liam Neeson leads an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements – and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt – before their time runs out. Directed by Joe Carnahan (The A-Team, Smokin’ Aces), ‘The Grey’ is set for release January 27th. Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts, Joe Anderson, Nonso Anozie, and James Badge Dale co-star.
What spoke to you about this role? And how was it working with the other guys in this ensemble?
Liam Neeson: There was something very primal about the story that triggered me, triggered something in me in this technological age. Me and a bunch of guys, out in the elements, extreme elements, being pursued by….almost mythological wolves. Their size, their intensity, their hatred for mankind. The wolves want to pick us off one at a time. That really interested me. The script read like a 19th Century epic poem for me, something like “The Ancient Mariner.” And also the little boy in myself, I just thought it would be great to be out with a bunch of guys on a cliff face or a rock face and doing manly things.
Something quite immediate happened with all of us as we shook each others hand, you know? And yes, we knew we were gonna go on this ride, this journey – and I know that’s a cliché but it really really was a journey in lots of ways. We all recognised that, and we all recognised each others strengths and sensitivities. It was tough but we had a good laugh.
Two New ‘Wrath Of The Titans’ TV Spots – Starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson & Rosamund Pike
Jan 26th
Featuring snippets of new footage, Warner Bros has unleashed these two TV spots for Jonathan Liebesman’s (Battle: Los Angeles) ‘Clash Of the Titans’ sequel, ‘Wrath of the Titans.’ The action adventure flick has been pencilled in for March 30th release date. Involved in all the sword and sandals shenanigans are Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramiez, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell, and Rosamund Pike.
A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus—the demigod son of Zeus—is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.

UPDATED: Red band trailer added. Open Road Films has unleashed this rather awesome French poster for Joe Carnahan’s (The A-Team, Smokin’ Aces) forthcoming adventure-survival thriller ‘The Grey.’ Not content with your general human based ass-kicking shenanigans, Liam Neeson has taken up battling injuries, ravenous hunger, and a vicious pack of rogue wolves in ‘The Grey.’ Alongside Liam Neeson, the film co-stars Dallas Roberts, James Badge Dale, Dermot Mulroney, Frank Grillo, Nonso Anozie and Joe Anderson.

Liam Neeson Confirms He Filmed A Scene For Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Jan 24th
On the promotional campaign for his (rather fantastic) survival thriller ‘The Grey,’ Liam Neeson confirmed to ShowbizSpy that he has filmed a short scene for the hugely anticipated conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’: “I can tell you nothing about Dark Knight Rises, seriously. I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn’t tell me anything of what it’s about. So, I’m being very honest when I say I have no idea what’s going to happen.”
Liam Neeson played complex villain and leader of the League of Shadows, Ra’s al Ghul, in the series’ first chapter ‘Batman Begins.’ I would bet my house, nose and left elbow that his scene will be a flashback. Alongside Liam Neeson, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, Michael Caine as Alfred, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate. Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Josh Stewart, Christopher Judge, Adam Rodriguez and Rob Brown co-star. The plot for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is being kept securely under lock and key, judging by the trailer and the previous two films I can imagine something E P I C. Check out the production notes for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ below.
