Sam Worthington (Perseus) & A Two-Headed Beast Feature In New Poster For ‘Wrath of the Titans’
Feb 15th
Warner Bros has unleashed, via Kino Gallery, this new Russian poster for Jonathan Liebesman’s (Battle: Los Angeles) sequel to ‘Clash Of the Titans,’ ‘Wrath of the Titans.’ The action adventure flick has been pencilled in for March 30th release date. Involved in all the sword and sandals shenanigans are Sam Worthington (Perseus), Ralph Fiennes (Hades), Liam Neeson (Zeus), Danny Huston (Poseidon), Edgar Ramiez (Ares), Bill Nighy (Hephaestus), Toby Kebbell (Argenor), and Rosamund Pike (Queen Andromeda). ‘Wrath of the Titans’ takes place a decade after the events of ‘Clash of the Titans,’ the story finds Perseus (Worthington) back in action when Zeus (Neeson) is captured by Ares (Ramirez) and Hades (Fiennes) in a plot to unleash the titans. On the promotional campaign for ‘Man on a Ledge,’ Sam Worthington had the following to say about ‘Wrath of the Titans’:
“‘Wrath of the Titans’ comes out in March, which I’m really really excited about. I saw it and I think it’s awesome. I think Jonathan Liebesman is a genius. He’s took what we did from the first one and bent it a bit, put his own stamp on it. He created something really cool. Personally, I didn’t like my performance in the first film, I don’t think I satisfied the audience as much as I wanted to. So to get a second chance, it’s very exciting and it’s a great opportunity. We really looked at Perseus as a hero and thought, “What makes a hero?” And then what was the slant and edge we wanted to put on that, rather than it being just a generic action conduit of a person.”
Three New ‘Wrath Of The Titans’ Posters – Starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson & Rosamund Pike

Warner Bros has unleashed, via Digital Spy, these three new posters for Jonathan Liebesman’s (Battle: Los Angeles) ‘Clash Of the Titans’ sequel, ‘Wrath of the Titans.’ The action adventure flick has been pencilled in for March 30th release date. Involved in all the sword and sandals shenanigans are Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramiez, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell, and Rosamund Pike.
A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus—the demigod son of Zeus—is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.
Super Bowl TV Spot For ‘Battleship’ – Starring Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard & Rihanna
Feb 6th
Universal Pictures has released this Super Bowl TV spot for Peter Berg’s (The Kingdom, Hancock) forthcoming summer blockbuster ‘Battleship.’ From what I’ve seen so far, I’m convinced that the best film to see drunk in 2012 is undoubtedly, unquestionably, beyond a shadow of a doubt, unmistakably……‘Battleship.’ The film, a sci-fi/actioner that is loosely based on the popular Hasbro board game of the same name, stars Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Taylor Kitsch, Josh Pence and Rihanna. ‘Battleship’ is set for release May 18th.
Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Based on Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.

Darren Aronofsky Wants Russell Crowe & Liam Neeson For ‘Noah’
Feb 2nd
Darren Aronofsky apparently has his eyes on Russell Crowe for the title role in his epically-scaled retelling of the biblical story ‘Noah,’ according to Deadline. Additionally, Aronofsky is said to be interested in offering another part to Liam Neeson, which is currently unspecified. ‘Noah’ would be Aronofsky’s follow up effort to the Oscar-nominated and hugely profitable ‘Black Swan,’ which grossed $315 million worldwide on a $12 million budget. Talking about the project, Aronofsky had the following to say in the past: “Since I was a kid, I have been moved and inspired by the story of Noah and his family’s journey. The imaginations of countless generations have sparked to this epic story of faith. It’s my hope that I can present a window into Noah’s passion and perseverance for the silver screen.”
I’ve got extremely high hopes for this film, this project has been one Aronofsky’s been developing since his teens. The premise and sheer ambition of ‘Noah’ has me stoked. Aronofsky is the man behind some of my favourite films of the last twelve years in ‘The Wrestler,’ ‘The Fountain,’ ‘Requiem for a Dream,’ ‘Pi’ and ‘Black Swan’ – fingers crossed ‘Noah’ adds to that list. The film is to start production in the summer, for a fall 2013 release. John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator) is set to rewrite the script by Aronofsky and Ari Handel, while Aronofsky and Scott Franklin will produce the film.
