‘X-Men: First Class’ Character Trailers Featuring Banshee, Havok & Beast
May 5th
Continuing Fox’s promotional onslaught for Matthew Vaughn’s ‘X-Men: First Class’ they have (via MTV) released these three new character trailers featuring Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones), Havok (Alex Summers) and Beast (Nicholas Hoult). The upcoming superhero flick charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, showing us the origins of Charles Xavier and Magneto as they discover their powers and find their friendship tested. Out of all the comic book-inspired flicks released this summer this is the one I’m looking forward to most – I’m thoroughly stoked! Look out for ‘X-Men: First Class’ in cinemas June 1st in the UK, and June 3rd in the US.
”X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.”
