This international poster for the awesome looking alien invasion movie ‘Battle Los: Angeles’ has been dumped online. I’m truly pumped for this flick, the trailer had me munching on some serious excitement pie! I truly hope this film lives up to my lofty hopes. Battle: Los Angeles is in cinemas March 2011.

Yahoo have released this suspenseful, action packed trailer for Battle: Los Angeles. Over the last few years I’ve seen so many Sci Fi/Action movies where the advertising campaign was better than the actual movie, fingers crossed this won’t follow that trend and it will be a good’en! For those that don’t know Battle: Los Angeles is an alien invasion story presented as an intense present-day war movie, seen from the perspective of a group of Marines. I’m bracing myself for some awesomeness – this looks great! Battle: Los Angeles is in cinemas March 2011.
When unknown forces put the City of Angels under attack, it’s up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to come to the rescue. As the invasion hits the streets of L.A., the Marines become our first and last line of defense against a highly powerful enemy. Four New TV Spots For Robert Rodriguez’s Machete – Starring Danny Trejo, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba & Michelle Rodriguez

Four new TV spots for Machete have sprung online giving us a closer look at four of the main characters in Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse inspired movie. I’m so sold on this film already, this looks like it’s going to deliver epic levels of awesomeness and mayhem. Robert Rodriguez is unrivaled at badassery, I truly don’t expect any of these characters to ever look back at an explosion. Eg:
Average person: Oh snap, did you just see that car explode
Machete character: No [continues walking slow motion style]
The feature version of the trailer finds Machete (Danny Trejo) a renegade former Mexican Federale, roaming the streets of Texas after a shakedown from drug lord Torrez (Steven Seagal). Reluctantly, Machete takes an offer from spin doctor Benz (Jeff Fahey) to assassinate McLaughlin (Robert De Niro) a corrupt Senator. Double crossed and on the run Machete braves the odds with the help of Luz (Michelle Rodriguez), a saucy taco slinger, Padre (Cheech Marin) his “holy” brother, and April (Lindsay Lohan) a socialite with a penchant for guns. All while being tracked by Sartana (Jessica Alba), a sexy ICE agent with a special interest in the blade slinger. Machete comes to cinemas September 3rd in the US and October 29th in the UK. Machete stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey. The film is directed by Ethan Maniquis, Robert Rodriguez.
