20th Century Fox have unveiled this new international trailer for Francis Lawrence’s (I Am Legend) upcoming movie ‘Water For Elephants.’ The film is based on the acclaimed bestselling novel by Sara Gruen, and stars Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, and that sparkly vampire fella Robert Pattinson. As a young man, Jacob Jankowski was tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It was the early part of the great Depression, and for Jacob, now ninety, the circus world he remembers was both his salvation and a living hell. A veterinary student just shy of a degree, he was put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. It was there that he met Marlena, the beautiful equestrian star married to August, the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. And he met Rosie, an untrainable elephant who was the great gray hope for this third-rate traveling show. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and, ultimately, it was their only hope for survival.
New Featurette For Kevin Macdonald’s ‘The Eagle’ – Starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell & Mark Strong

This new featurette has been released online for Kevin Macdonald’s (State of Play, The Last King of Scotland) upcoming Roman epic ‘The Eagle’. The movie is based off the 1954 novel ‘The Eagle of the Ninth’ written by Rosemary Sutcliff, and stars Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland, Mark Strong, and Tahar Rahim. I’m a complete sucker for sword and sandals movies. Any film that features an abundance of cowls, shields, blood, excessive mud, swords, spears and fire lances is certain to tickle my fancy!
In 140 AD, two men – master and slave – venture beyond the edge of the known world on a dangerous and obsessive quest that will push them beyond the boundaries of loyalty and betrayal, friendship and hatred, deceit and heroism…The Roman epic adventure THE EAGLE stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell and is directed by Academy Award winner Kevin Macdonald. 20 years earlier, Rome’s 5,000-strong Ninth Legion, under the command of Flavius Aquila, marched north carrying their treasured golden Eagle emblem. They never returned; Legion and Eagle simply vanished into the mists. Hearing a rumor that the Eagle has been seen in a tribal temple in the far north, Flavius’ son Marcus (Tatum), determined to restore the tarnished reputation of his father, is galvanized into action. Accompanied only by his slave Esca (Bell), Marcus sets out into the vast and dangerous highlands of Scotland – to confront its savage tribes, make peace with his father’s memory, and retrieve the hallowed Eagle. Along the way Marcus realizes that the mystery of his father’s disappearance may well be linked to the secret of his own slave’s identity and loyalty – a secret all the more pressing when the two come face-to-face with the warriors of the fearsome Seal Prince (Tahar Rahim).
