James “Rhodey” Rhodes/Iron Patriot, Ben Kingsley’s The Mandarin and Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian, Marvel Studios has revealed this brief new TV spot for ‘Iron Man 3′ promoting that more footage will debut during Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, March 23rd. ‘Iron Man 3,’ the latest installment of the film franchise that has grossed more than $1.2 billion at the global box office, will be released internationally starting April 25th and in North America on May 3th. Marvel Chief Kevin Feige Talks ‘Iron Man 3,’ Pepper Potts’ Key Role In The Film & Tony Stark’s Intellect

With the release of ‘Iron Man 3′ fast approaching, About.com Kids’ Movies & TV talked with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about the eagerly awaited threequel. In the lengthy interview, Feige shed some light on Pepper Potts role in the film, the tone of ‘Iron Man 3,’ Marvel’s family appeal and Tony Stark’s intellect. On the topic of Tony’s intellect being the key to his super powers and the foundation of ‘Iron Man 3,’ Feige said, “In coming off the heels of Avengers, we wanted to focus on Tony. Seeing him with the Hulk and Thor, obviously was awesome and was our big event last Summer. This time, we wanted to return to Tony’s world–his place in Malibu, which is why you see him with Pepper. And we wanted to remind the audience, yes the suits are cool, but it’s his intellect that is really his super power.”
He continues, “And if you’ll remember the beginning of Iron Man 1, he’s in a cave. He doesn’t have access to anything, and he ends up building his first Iron Man suit. So, what we wanted to do in this movie was put him in a similar position. Take away everything from Tony and see how he can fight the villain back.”

Hot Toys’ ‘Iron Man 3′ Collectible Busts Revealed For Iron Patriot & Iron Man’s Mark VII Suit

Hot Toys have took to their official Facebook account to reveal a number of new looks at their 1/4th scale collectible busts for Marvel’s eagerly awaited ‘Iron Man’ threequel, ‘Iron Man 3.’ The two busts center on James “Rhodey” Rhodes’ (Don Cheadle) “Iron Patriot” armour and Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr) Mark VII Iron Man suit. The description provided for the Iron Patriot bust is as follows: “The upcoming Iron Man 3 movie will present a brand-new character Iron Patriot which is well fortified of military strength and technological superiority by transforming of War Machine Armor. Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/4th scale Iron Patriot Limited Edition Collectible Bust, which is specially produced based on the image of the Iron Patriot character in the movie in fine sculpture, highlighting the light-up functions and rotatable shoulder weapon.”
