Below is a new featurette from Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time, it showcases the lovely Gemma Arteton’s character Tamina. This could possibly be the first good video game based movie, the following film’s were terrible -Mortal Combat, Tomb Raider, Doom, Super Mario Bros and especially Street Fighter, ESPECIALLY Street Fighter!!!! Until watching Street Fighter at the tender age of 8 I never thought you could possibly make a film so bad, my child like innocence was taken from me by that film, it was a complete and utter turd. Fingers crossed this will be good, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is released in the UK 21st May and also stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Sir Ben Kinglsey, Toby Kebbell and Alfred Molia. Disney have got a very big year in films in 2010 with Alice In Wonderland, Toy Story 3, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Tron Legacy and this. I’m slowly warming to this the more that I see from it, I’ve always liked Jake Gylanhaal, it’s good to see him do something more action packed, from the trailer he looks like he spends much of the movie jumping around like coked up Kangaroo(nothing wrong with that!). I’m also looking forward to it for Toby Kebbell and Gemma Arterton two of the UK’s best young talents. They should have cast a few more Persians though it looks like a bunch of English people wearing eye liner and dyed black hair, its the 21^st century now I should think films can be a bit more realistic. Look’s like a lot of fun though.

Disney unveiled new TV Spot’s for Alice In Wonderland and Prince Perisa last night during the Super Bowl, which was seen by over 100 million people worldwide, so you know they paid some $$$$ for ad space! I’ve got mild interest in both of these, I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by some of Tim Burton’s latest work (Sweeney Todd, Charley and the Chocolate Factory, Planet Of The Apes). I’ve got no doubts it will be visually stunning, the cast is great as well (who doesn’t like Stephen Fry), hopefully it will be a return to form. The Prince Of Persia film does look like a lot of fun, I just hope it’s not a complete cgi fest, the TV spot slightly increased my interest. I’m still not fully sold on this for some reason, the cast is great, with Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Toby Kebbell and Ben Kingsley, all actors I look out for. The first  featurette features a short interview with Jake Gyllenhaal talking about his character Prince Dastan. The second featurette is a behind the scenes look at the film. This definitely looks like it will be one of the big blockbusters of 2010. Check out the 2 Trailer here

A Trailer has finally been released for Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time. This is one of the blockbusters I’m actually looking forward too(along with Clash Of The Titans) in 2010, the cast is very good with Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Toby Kebbell and Ben Kingsley.
