First Look At Richard Ayoade’s ‘The Double’ – Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Noah Taylor & Mia Wasikowska

Cinema Teaser has premiered these first two images from Richard Ayoade’s (Submarine, The IT Crowd) upcoming comedy drama ‘The Double.’ Inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novella of the same name, the film is lead by Jesse Eisenberg as a government clerk whose life is destroyed after what he believes to be an exact copy of himself begins working in his office and attempts to ruin his life.
Alongside Jesse Eisenberg, the likes of Noah Taylor, Mia Wasikowska, Wallace Shawn, Rade Serbedzija, James Fox and Yasmin Paige co-star. ‘The Double’ is currently in post-production and should arrive in cinemas in 2013. This excellent “Redband Reel” has landed online for Akiva Schaffer’s (Lonely Island member, ‘Hot Rod’ director) upcoming sci-fi comedy ‘The Watch.’ Formerly titled ‘Neighborhood Watch,’ the film stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade as a group of suburban dads who form a neighborhood watch group to get time away from their families, only to end up stumbling upon an alien plot to destroy the world.
