The good folks over at Entertainment Weekly have got their hands on the first image of Ryan Reynolds as The Green Lantern. I’m stoked for this film, I really like Ryan Reynolds, which when considering my extreme jealousy of him due to his marriage to Scarlett Johansson is quite an achievement. With Comic Con fast approaching, expect to see a huge amount of images, casting news and clips from your favourite upcoming movies…….nerdgasm’s shall ensue! Stunning New Poster For Buried – Starring Ryan Reynolds

The marketing for Buried has been great so far, both the teaser trailer and the teaser poster were bold to say the least. This Saul Bass inspired poster just up’s the levels even further. For those that don’t know Saul Bass was Alfred Hitchcock’s go-to man for posters – check out the poster for Vertigo in particular. Buried is easily one of my most anticipated films of 2010, the buzz from the Sundance Film Festival was glowing and as I’ve stated I’ve loved the marketing of the film, hopefully the film will live up to my great expectations.
Paul Conroy is not ready to die. But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time – fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
Ryan Reynolds ‘Sort Of’ In Costume At The Green Lantern Set

MTV have got their teen brainwashing hands on the first image of Ryan Reynolds in CG costume for Green Lantern. The costume will be almost entirely computer generated (which is the reason for him looking like a grey ballet dancer), this probably means we won’t get our first official look of the suit until sometime next year. I’m actually looking forward to this, I really like Ryan Reynolds, which when considering my extreme jealousy of him due to his marriage to Scarlett Johansson is quite an achievement. Green Lantern is set to hit cinemas June , 2011.
