Pesky Nazi’s, they’re always causing sh*t! This trailer is a cracker, it thoroughly rang my interested bell, I really want to see how this film plays out now. The Debt is a remake of an Israeli film called HaHov. It was rewritten by Matthew Vaughn & Jane Goldman (of Kick-Ass and Stardust) as well as the original writers Ido Rosenblum & Assaf Bernstein. In 1965, three young Israeli Mossad agents on a secret mission capture and kill a notorious Nazi war criminal. Now, thirty years later, a man claiming to be the Nazi has surfaced in the Ukraine and one of the former agents must go back undercover to seek out the truth. The movie stars Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, Sam Worthington, Marton Csokas, Jessica Chastain, and Ciaran Hinds. The Dept is directed by John Madden

The release date for this is inching nearer and nearer, just over a month now from April 2^nd. I have to admit I can’t wait, I love me a good sword and sandal film, I’m spoiled for choice this year with this, Centurion and Robin Hood. It’s not gonna be very thought provoking but I’m sure it would be full of action and entertaining. Liam Neeson saying ‘release the Kraken’ is epic enough for me.

This gets two thumbs up from me, Liam Neeson is Zeus nuff said. Originally scheduled for a late March release, this may be getting pushed back until April due to Warner Brothers considering converting it to 3D. This trailer adds a bit more dialogue than the first two teaser trailers which were completely visually driven.

The 2nd trailer for Clash Of The Titans is online now, I’m actually looking forward to this, Liam Neeson as Zeus come on now, this oozes epicness! I hope it’s one of them perfect sit back with your mates and be entertained films, then afterwards you tell each other your best bits! It seems like they’ve got rid of the stupid ‘Titans Will Clash’ tagline as well. This trailer is really just a more extended version of the first one giving away a little bit more details of the plot and showing a couple more monsters.

My hopes for this continue to rise, I really liked the first trailer (apart from the sh*tty tagline ‘Titans Will Clash’) and the posters released on Yahoo today measure extremely high on the badassness scale! This is shaping up to be the big blockbuster film I’m looking forward tothe  most next year – along with Inception. I’m generally not a fan of remakes but for me the original hasn’t dated that well so I’m not mad at all with this one.

In the film, the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Neeson) and unleash hell on Earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

IGN have released another clip from Avatar which features Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver checking out Pandora. Fox are going all out with all these clips and featurettes

20th Century Fox have released a new  featurette for Avatar which includes all new footage, interviews from the cast and gives away too much of the story!?!?! Check out the featurette below. I’m amped for this!

I also recieved word today from Atlantic records that they are  releasing the official soundtrack for Avatar on 14^th December. Also Leona Lewis has recorded the end title song ‘I See You’, which will feature on the soundtrack along with music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner.  I hope isn’ t anything like that Celine Dion Titanic song, whenever I hear that song I want to kill rabbits.

I’m in two minds about the trailer, the tag line ‘Titans Will Clash’ is terrible if someone actually got paid to come up with that I don’t know who’s the bigger fool, the person who came up with it or the person who paid them. On the other hand it looks like a lot of fun, definitely one of them films to go and watch with your mates then comment after about which part was the most bad ass. From the trailer it looks a cross between Lord Of The Rings and a less homoerotic 300 (this is a good thing!).

No sign of this guy below, I’m sure he’ll make a little cameo though. Clash Of The Titans is in cinemas 26 March 2010.

According to Comingsoon.net 20th Century Fox will debut a new trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar in US theaters this Friday, October 23rd. The trailer will clock in at roughly around 3 minutes and 30 seconds. But it won’t be coming online until October 29th.  The first trailer was a bit of a let down for me especially after attending Avatar day and seeing around 20 minutes of the film in 3D, the teaser blew me away, I hope this trailer better represents the clips I saw.

The storys protagonist, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), is a former Marine who was wounded and paralyzed from the waist down in combat on Earth. Jake is selected to participate in the Avatar program, which will enable him to walk. Jake travels to Pandora, a lush jungle-covered extraterrestrial moon filled with incredible life forms, some beautiful, many terrifying. Pandora is also home to the Navi, a sentient humanoid race that are more physically capable than humans, although considered primitive. Standing three meters tall, with tails and sparkling blue skin, the Navi live in harmony with their unspoiled world. As humans encroach deeper into Pandora’s forests in search of valuable minerals, the Navi unleash their formidable warrior abilities to defend their threatened existence.

Jake has unwittingly been recruited to become part of this encroachment. Since humans are unable to breathe the air on Pandora, they have created genetically-bred human-Navi hybrids known as Avatars. The Avatars are living, breathing bodies that are controlled by a human “driver” through a technology that links the driver’s mind to their Avatar body. On Pandora, through his Avatar body, Jake can be whole once again. Sent deep into Pandora’s jungles as a scout for the soldiers that will follow, Jake encounters many of Pandora’s beauties and dangers. There he meets a young Navi female, Neytiri, whose beauty is only matched by her ferocity in battle. Over time, Jake integrates himself into Neytiri’s clan, and begins to fall in love with her. As a result, Jake finds himself caught between the military-industrial forces of Earth, and the Navi, forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world.
