New ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ Teaser Trailer: “Happy Easter”

Paramount Pictures has unveiled this new teaser trailer for the long-awaited comedy sequel ’Anchorman: The Legend Continues.’ The sequel to the 2004 film, ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,’ has Adam McKay returning to the directors chair as well as co-writing the script with Will Ferrell.
Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd return from the original film, while the likes of Harrison Ford, Kristen Wiig, Meagan Good, Dylan Baker, Josh Lawson, Greg Kinnear and James Marsden join the sequel. Look out for ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ in cinemas from December 20th. Expect a full-length trailer for the film shortly.

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment has debuted this latest poster for ’Despicable Me 2.’ Scheduled for release on June 28th in the UK and July 3rd in US, the sequel for the endlessly entertaining ‘Despicable Me’ features the voices of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Steve Coogan, Ken Jeong and Benjamin Bratt.
Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s worldwide blockbuster, Despicable Me, delighted audiences around the globe in 2010, grossing more than $540 million and becoming the 10th-biggest animated motion picture in U.S. history. Al Pacino Departs ‘Despicable Me 2′; Benjamin Bratt Replaces Him [UPDATE]

Deadline are reporting that Al Pacino and Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have parted company on ‘Despicable Me 2.’ Pacino was signed on to provide the voice of the film’s villain, Eduardo, in the follow-up to the 2010 hit. With just two months to go before the film’s June 28th release in the UK and July 3rd bow in US, the studio and Chris Meledandri’s Illumination are in the process of landing someone to take over. Pacino’s last-minute exit is said to have come down to creative differences.
Universal Pictures confirmed Pacino’s exit, and sent over the following statement: “Over the production of Despicable Me 2, there were creative differences between us and Al Pacino, who had been cast as the voice of Eduardo in the film. We have mutually decided with Al to replace the voice of Eduardo with a new actor. Universal and Illumination thank Al for his many contributions to the process and look forward to a new actor bringing this memorable character to the screen upon its release this summer.” UPDATE: Benjamin Bratt has stepped in to voice the villain Eduardo.

Fox Searchlight has debuted, via BuzzFeed, this new poster for the coming of age comedy/drama ‘The Way, Way Back.’ Starring Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Allison Janney, AnnaSophia Robb, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Amanda Peet, Rob Corddry and Liam James, the film is set for a July 5th release.
‘The Way, Way Back’ is the funny and poignant coming of age story of 14-year-old Duncan’s (Liam James) summer vacation with his mother, Pam (Toni Collette), her overbearing boyfriend, Trent (Steve Carell), and his daughter, Steph (Zoe Levin). Having a rough time fitting in, the introverted Duncan finds an unexpected friend in gregarious Owen (Sam Rockwell), manager of the Water Wizz water park. Through his funny, clandestine friendship with Owen, Duncan slowly opens up to and begins to finally find his place in the world - all during a summer he will never forget.
