Warner Bros have really got the ball rolling with the promotion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The first full trailer was unveiled earlier this week to great acclaim, and now today we get these two teaser gems! These films are now firmly pencilled in under my ‘must see’ category. I’ve never been the biggest Harry Potter fan, but even I have to admit this looks epic!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will hit cinemas November 19th, while Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II is slated for release July 15, 2011. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Jim Broadbent, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Timothy Spall, David Thewlis, Julie Walters and is directed by David Yates.
I didn’t realise this film was coming out so soon (October 22nd in the US), that does scream quick cash in, but I have to say this teaser is pretty creepy. I actually enjoyed Paranormal Activity, people were sh*tting bricks in the press screening, the lady sitting next to me was in hysterics. I hope this isn’t full of cheap thrills, the last one built the tension up brilliantly. Also poor dog……………………….and baby.
The teaser trailer for David Fincher’s The Social Network has just landed online and from the little we get from it, it looks like we’re in for a winner. True to teaser trailer form, we don’t actually see any footage from the film, we just get to hear some great sound bites from the film with words like “Punk,” “Genius,” “Prophet” and “Traitor” superimposed on the screen. As simple as that is, it completely grabbed me. I fully expect this to be a compelling and intelligent drama.
The Social Network is based off Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook – A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betryal. Jesse Eisenberg will play Facebook CEO Zuckerberg, while Justin Timberlake will play Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who became Facebook’s founding president; and Andrew Garfield will play Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who fell out with Zuckerberg over money.
I’m looking forward to this, 4 3 2 1 is the new film from BAFTA award-winning Noel Clarke, it follows on from the success of writing and starring in Kidulthood then directing, writing and starring in Adulthood. The movie details three days in the lives of four girls who are unknowingly connected by a major diamond robbery. 4, 3, 2, 1 stars Noel Clarke, Emma Roberts, Tamsin Egerton, Ophelia Lovibond, Shanika Warren-Marklend, Ben ‘Plan B’ Drew, Jacob Anderson, Ashley ‘Bashy’ Thomas and Adam Deacon. Interviews coming soon!
This is certain to make a zillion $$$$$$$’s when it comes out next year. Pixar know how to make animated filoms like no other. The fact that the first Toy story came out 14 years ago makes me feel really really old though. Toy Story 3 is set for release June 18, 2010, in the United States.
Andy is departing for college, and his toys, including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen), are going to be put in the attic. Before they can be put in the attic, they are accidentally thrown away and are picked up by the garbage men. The toys find themselves at a local day-care center, where they must try to survive the playful but careless pre-school children. Woody attempts to save his friends and find themselves a new home, but matters are further complicated when Buzz is damaged during an escape attempt. The toys try to reset Buzz, but end up causing him to revert to a Spanish version of his delusions of being a space ranger, much to Jessie’s delight and the other toys’ discomfort.
