The New York Times has set loose this first image from Judd Apatow’s (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, This Is 40) upcoming comedy ‘Trainwreck,’ which is scripted by lead star Amy Schumer. Alongside Schumer, the ensemble cast includes Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Barkhad Abdi, Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser, Vanessa Bayer, Daniel Radcliffe, John Cena, Ezra Miller, LeBron James and Method Man.

With a June 27th US release date finally in place, this new Red Band trailer has landed online for ‘Snowpiercer,’ the highly anticipated post-apocalyptic drama by writer/director Bong Joon-ho (The Host, Mother) and producer Chan wook-Park (Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance). The film is described as ”set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.”
’Snowpiercer’ stars Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Chris Evans, John Hurt, Ed Harris, John Hurt, Ko Asung, Alison Pill, Ewan Bremner, Octavia Spencer and Song Kang-ho – who previously starred in Bong Joon-ho’s equally fantastic ‘The Host’ and ‘Memories Of Murder.’ Marking Bong’s English language debut, ‘Snowpiercer’ is based on a French graphic novel titled ‘Le Transperceneige.’
Variety and The Wrap are reporting that Tilda Swinton, Barkhad Abdi, comedians Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser and Vanessa Bayer (“SNL”), pro wrestler John Cena and Swinton’s ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ co-star Ezra Miller are all in various stages of negotiations to join the cast of ‘Trainwreck. Directed by Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, This Is 40), the film also stars Amy Schumer, Bill Hader and Brie Larson.Schumer scripted ‘Trainwreck’ for Universal and developed it with Apatow, who is also producing with Barry Mendel through his Apatow Productions. Plot details are being kept secret at the moment, but the film is slated to hit the big screen on July 24th, 2015.
While the film is out now in the UK and in Los Angeles and New York in the US, Fox Searchlight has today unveiled this red band trailer for Wes Anderson’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ before it expands into more cinemas this week in North America. In the US, the film broke the record for the highest-grossing limited live-action debut of all time. The comedy-drama opened in four theaters on Friday, and averaged more than $200,000 per theater, overtaking the Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘The Master,’ which averaged $147,000. ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ will screen in more than 1,000 screens over the next five weeks as it slowly expands. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting, the battle for an enormous family fortune and the slow and then sudden upheavals that transformed Europe during the first half of the 20th century.

Movies has debuted this US trailer for Jim Jarmusch’s (Broken Flowers, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, Dead Man) brilliant crypto-vampire love story ’Only Lovers Left Alive.’ ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ is lead by Tom Hiddleston as Adam, an underground musician who’s deeply depressed by the direction of human activities. He reunites with his centuries-long lover, Eve (Tilda Swinton), though their idyll is soon interrupted by Eve’s wild and uncontrollable younger sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska). John Hurt, Anton Yelchin and Jeffrey Wright also star. Out now in the UK, ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ arrives on April 11th in the US.

Also starring David Thewlis, Melanie Thierry, Lucas Hedges, Ben Whishaw, Matt Damon, and Peter Stormare, ‘The Zero Theorem’ is set for release in the UK on May 14th.
