iTunes Movie Trailers has unleashed this new full-length trailer for Walt Disney Pictures’ upcoming action-adventure film ‘The Lone Ranger.’ A first-rate cast has been assembled for ‘The Lone Ranger,’ with Armie Hammer (The Social Network) taking on the role of the titular character, Johnny Depp playing Tonto, and the likes of Ruth Wilson, William Fichtner, Helena Bonham Carter, James Badge Dale, Barry Pepper, Tom Wilkinson and James Frain co-starring. The film, which takes place in 1869, is directed by Gore Verbinski for Walt Disney Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer Films. ‘The Lone Ranger’ marks Verbrinski and Depp’s fifth collaboration after the first trio of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movies and the Oscar-winning ‘Rango.’
The film is described as “a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought tolife through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.” ‘The Lone Ranger’ has been pencilled in for a July 3rd, 2013 release. ‘The Lone Ranger’ Production Update & New Set Images – Starring Armie Hammer & Johnny Depp

Providing us with some insight into the current status of the films shoot and a number of pics from the New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona set of the film, producer Jerry Bruckheimer has today posted a brief production update on his official blog for ‘The Lone Ranger.’ Bruckheimer’s post reads as follows: “Almost done with filming of The Lone Ranger. 125 days of shooting seemed to fly by. We dealt with winds up to 70 mph, rain, snow, and even wildfires but nothing has stopped us from filming this incredible movie. The cast has been absolutely amazing and we could not have asked for a better crew. Everyone has been extremely dedicated in making this film a major success. We have a few more filming days back in California and then post-production goes into high gear. Before we know it, it will be July 3rd, 2013 and we can’t wait to share this incredible film with everyone.”

Collection Of Images From ‘The Samaritan’ – Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Luke Kirby & Tom Wilkinson

IFC Films has released these six new images from the Samuel L. Jackson starring crime-thriller ‘The Samaritan.’ Written and directed by David Weaver, the film co-stars Luke Kirby, Ruth Negga, Tom Wilkinson, Aaron Poole and Martha Burns. ‘The Samaritan’ is released in cinemas May 16th in the US – fingers crossed there’s a confirmed UK release date for the film soon.
‘The Samaritan’ follows Foley (Samuel L. Jackson), a man who is finished with the grifter’s life after twenty-five years in prison. The possibility of a new start looks real when he meets an elusive young woman named Iris (Ruth Negga). But his past is proving to be a stubborn companion: Ethan (Luke Kirby), the son of his former partner, has an ingenious plan and he wants Foley in. The harder Foley tries to escape his past, the tighter he is ensnared in Ethans web of secrets, until it becomes all too clear to Foley that some wrongs can never be made right.
