Debut Poster For Robert Redford’s ‘The Conspirator’ – Starring James McAvoy & Robin Wright
Feb 15th
The American Film Company have released this debut poster for Robert Redford’s upcoming Civil War-set, historical drama ‘The Conspirator.’ The film tells the story of the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination at the hands of John Wilkes Booth – portrayed by the always brilliant Toby Kebbell.
The film boasts a cast chock-full with talent, that includes the likes of James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Alexis Bledel, Tom Wilkinson, Kevin Kline, Evan Rachel Wood, Danny Huston, Justin Long, Johnny Simmons, James Badge Dale and Stephen Root. I’ve keeping my eye on this flick, I wasn’t a huge fan of Robert Redford’s last two films however – The Legend Of Bagger Vance and Lions For Lambs. Fingers crossed this is a return to form.

Yahoo have got their hands on this debut trailer for Robert Redford’s upcoming Civil War-set, historical drama ‘The Conspirator.’ The film tells the story of the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination at the hands of John Wilkes Booth – who is played by one of my favourite young actors in Toby Kebbell (see Rocknrolla and Dead Man’s Shoes to know what I’m talking about).
The film boasts a cast stacked with talent, it includes the likes of James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Alexis Bledel, Tom Wilkinson, Kevin Kline, Evan Rachel Wood, Danny Huston, Justin Long, Johnny Simmons, James Badge Dale and Stephen Root. I’m keeping my eye on this, I wasn’t a huge fan of Robert Redford’s last two films though – The Legend Of Bagger Vance and Lions For Lambs, from the looks of the trailer it definitely seems like this is a return to form.
New Featurette For ‘The Green Hornet’ – Starring Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz & Cameron Diaz
Dec 22nd
Sony have released this new featurette for Michel Gondry’s The Green Hornet giving us a closer look at the film. Seeing Seth Rogen in a slightly more serious role than usual is intriguing me, he looks like he’s lost a tonne of weight to fight crime as the Green Hornet, he completely looks the part. Consider this as well – the film stars Christoph Waltz as the lead villain, more importantly to my manly sensibility’s, he’s sporting an epic beard….I’m in! Look out for The Green Hornet 14th January, 2011.
Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the son of LA’s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene – until his father (Tom Wilkinson) mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father’s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato (Jay Chou), they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves – protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets.
Using all his ingenuity and skill, Kato builds the ultimate in advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower. Rolling in a mobile fortress on wheels and striking the bad guys with Kato’s clever gadgets, The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves, and with the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they begin hunting down the man who controls LA’s gritty underworld: Benjamin Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz). But Chudnofsky has plans of his own: to swat down The Green Hornet once and for all.
Two New Clips From Burke And Hare – Starring Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis & Isla Fisher
Oct 23rd

Twitch Film and Sky Movies have released two new clips from John Landis’ (Animal House, Blues Brothers, American Werewolf in London, Coming to America) upcoming black comedy Burke and Hare. This film looks fantastically fun, it’s firmly cemented on my must see list. The cast is first rate in Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, John Cleese, Isla Fisher, Tim Curry, Tom Wilkinson, Jessica Hynes, Bill Bailey, Stephen Merchant and Ronnie Corbett . Burke and Hare is released in UK cinemas 29th October.
BURKE & HARE is a comedic take on the true story of the 1828 Edinburgh body-snatchers William Burke (Simon Pegg) and William Hare (Andy Serkis). These two Irish entrepreneurs, spurred on by a chance meeting with a gorgeous actress (Isla Fisher), discover that a dead body can fetch a hefty price when the demands of the leading medical professors Dr. Knox (Tom Wilkinson) and Dr. Monroe (Tim Curry) reach beyond that of the local supply.
New Poster For The Green Hornet – Starring Seth Rogen, Christoph Waltz & Cameron Diaz

Comingsoon.net have got their hands on a great new poster for director Michel Gondry’s The Green Hornet. The film stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Christoph Waltz, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour and Tom Wilkinson. The Green Hornet looks like a fun thrill ride of a film, a welcomed contrast to the trend of darkly profound and reboot crazed superhero film’s we’ve seen since Christopher Nolan brought the world Batman Begins. It’s good to get a little balance in a genre, don’t get it twisted I love myself some darkly profound films, just not all the time. Seeing Seth Rogen in a slightly more serious role than usual is intriguing me as well, he looks like he’s lost a tonne of weight to fight some crime as the Green Hornet, he completely looks the part. Director Michel Gondry’s quirky visual style always interests me. Consider this as well – the film stars Christoph Waltz as the lead villain, more importantly to my manly sensibility’s, he’s sporting an epic beard….I’m in! Check out the synopsis below.
