Two New Behind The Scenes Clips For Transformers: The Dark of The Moon
Oct 28th

Following on from the teaser clip that Entertainment Tonight released for their behind-the-scenes look at Transformers: Dark Of The Moon earlier this week, two of those clips from their set visit have now been released online. To be honest with you I have VERY low expectations for this, the last film in the series could be best described as a gigantic piece of excrement. So far Michael Bay has savaged my fond memories of Transformers as a kid twice now! Transformers: The Dark of The Moon comes to cinemas July 1st, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Ken Jeong, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich and is directed by Michael Bay.
The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.
Behind The Scenes Teaser For ‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’ & Logo Reveal
Oct 26th
Entertainment Tonight have released a teaser for their upcoming behind-the-scenes look at Transformers: Dark Of The Moon – which is set to air this Thursday. There’s not much to the clip other than seeing Shia LaBeouf smile a lot and Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and director Michael Bay staring at things……oh and not to forget, explosions……and more explosions! We do get our first look at the logo for the film though, which I’ve posted above.
I have zero expectation for this to be even half decent, Michael Bay has sodomized my fond memories of Transformers as a kid twice now, the second time savagely so! Transformers 3: The Dark of The Moon comes to theaters July 1st, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Ken Jeong, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich and is directed by Michael Bay.

DC MetroMix and Ain’t It Cool News have posted a bunch of news images featuring Optimus Prime, Shia LaBeouf and some very Michael Bay’esq explosions from the set of the newly titled Transformers 3: The Dark of The Moon.

Transformers 3 Has An Official Title – Transformers: The Dark of the Moon
Oct 6th
The good people over at Collider have confirmed that Transformers 3 now has the official title of ‘Transformers: The Dark of the Moon‘. Earlier today a number of websites first discovered the title through the listings of upcoming tie-in novels, “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Secret of the Autobots“, “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Autobots Betrayed!“, and “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon: Invasion of the Decepticons” – all set for release May 17, 2011. The fact that the domain names TransformersTheDarkoftheMoon.com and TransformersTheDarkoftheMoonmovie.com were also recently registered pretty much ceiled the deal.

Megan Fox Not Returning For Transformers 3? Gemma Arterton Possibly The Replacement
May 20th
After reading a bunch of stories online it seems that I must be the only person that wasn’t completely surprised by this story, since Transformers 2 Megan Fox has thrown Director Michael Bay under the bus COUNTLESS times in public. Deadline have reported ‘Paramount won’t be picking up Megan Fox’s option on Transformers 3 — and that it was “ultimately” director Michael Bay’s decision. Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and “giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story,” an insider tells me.‘ I’m still not a hundred perfect convinced that this story is completely accurate, Michael Bay like’s to mess with people, for Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen he said that Megatron would not be appearing.
Thewrap have also reported that Gemma Arterton is the frontrunner to replace Megan Fox, with supermodels Bar Rafaeli, Miranda Kerr and Brooklyn Decker also in the running. I’m not to sure about that story either because when I interviewed Gemma Arterton a few weeks ago she said ‘I’m having a little break now, but the next thing I do I want it to scare me, I want it to be a challenge. I’ll be playing a stalker though, who’s really fat and ugly YEAAAAAAHH (laughs). The girl I stalk no one wants to play her, because it’s similar to Alice, she gets humiliated, I’m really trying to get these great actresses to play it.’ You never know though, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Edit: “Megan Fox will not be starring in ‘Transformers 3,’ ” reps for the actress, 24, told People magazine. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.” So it’s been confirmed
