Sony Pictures has released, via CineComics, these three behind-the-scenes images from their barmy looking action adventure flick ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.’ The images reveal how they went about transforming Nicholas Cage into Ghost Rider: “The colored dots used to facilitate the digitization of the character for post production and adapt the movements of the latter to those of the actor.  The flames will be added by computer to the end result we are all familiar with the latest band Trailer of the film. The neon lights here on the bike, are used to create a first effect of light and shade very close to that of a motorcycle on fire.”

Offering new footage from the film, Universal Pictures has released these two new TV spots for Daniel Espinosa’s forthcoming action-thriller ‘Safe House.’ Oscar-winner Denzel Washington plays “the most dangerous renegade from the CIA,” who comes back onto the grid after a decade on the run. When the South African safe house he’s remanded to is attacked by mercenaries, a rookie operative (Ryan Reynolds) escapes with him. The unlikely allies must then stay alive long enough to uncover who wants them dead. ’Safe House’ co-stars Nora Arnezeder, Vera Farmiga, Ruben Blades, Brendan Gleeson, Liam Cunningham, Tim McGraw, Robert Patrick, and Sam Shepard. The film is due to hit cinemas February 10th 2012 in the US, and Febuary 24th 2012 in the UK.

With the films release on the horizon, Sony Pictures has unveiled this new TV spot for David Fincher’s upcoming mystery crime thriller ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.’ The film stars Rooney Mara as the troubled but brilliant computer hacker and investigator Lisbeth Salander, and Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist, investigative journalist and publisher of ’Millenium’ magazine. Based on Stieg Larsson’s hugely successful ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ novel, the first book in Larsson’s ‘Millenium trilogy, the film also stars Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik, Yorick van Wageningen, Bengt C.W. Carlsson, Mathilda von Essen and Goran Visnjic.

Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy has altogether sold over 50 million copies in 46 countries. The screenplay for Fincher’s adaptation of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ is by Steven Zaillian, while Trent Reznor is on score duty, making this the second feature collaboration between Reznor and Fincher after ‘The Social Network’ – which earned Reznor an Academy Award. ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ is to be released in cinemas December 21st in the US, and December 26th in the UK.
