Look at your cat. Now look at Puss In Boots. Does your cat have Golden Eggs? We didn’t think so. The film features the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Sedaris and Zach Galifianakis. ‘Puss in Boots’ is set for release November 4th in the US, and December 9th in the UK.

TV Spot For Clint Eastwood’s ‘J. Edgar’ – Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Armie Hammer & Naomi Watts
Sep 22nd
Closely following the release of the films debut trailer earlier in the week, the good folks over at Warner Bros have now liberated this TV spot for Clint Eastwood’s Leonardo DiCaprio-starring J. Edgar Hoover biopic ‘J. Edgar.’ The film co-stars Armie Hammer as Clyde Toulson, Hoover’s second in command, and secret lover, Judie Dench plays Hoover’s mother, Anne Marie Hoover, Jeffrey Donovan stars as Robert F. Kennedy, while Naomi Watts will play Helen Gandy, Hoover’s loyal secretary for 54 years from 1918-1972. Lea Thompson, Josh Lucas, Damon Herriman, Ken Howard and Ed Westwick also star. Clint Eastwood directs from a script by ‘Milk’ Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black. ‘J. Edgar’ is released in cinemas November 9th in the US, and January 20th in the UK.
Based on the life of J. Edgar Hoover, the man often credited with making the FBI what it is today: an efficient, crime-fighting organization shrouded in secrecy. Hoover founded the organization in 1935 and remained director until his death in 1972.
As America’s top cop for five decades, J. Edgar Hoover oversaw the creation of the FBI, helped popularize fingerprints and other forensic evidence, and wielded nearly unchecked authority to manipulate evidence and investigate supposed enemies of the state such as Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. Now director Clint Eastwood is turning the tables, prying into Hoover’s life in a big-screen biopic that would doubtless make the notorious G-man squirm.

Sep 5th
Lionsgate have released this music video TV spot for Gavin O’Connor’s fantastic Mixed Martial Arts drama ‘Warrior,’ providing us an insight into the films family dynamic to the backdrop of The National’s ‘About Time.’ ‘Warrior’ stars two of the very best young actors around in Tom Hardy (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises) and Joel Edgerton (Animal Kingdom). The film opens September 9th in the US, and September 23rd in the UK – definitely one to check out, I thought it was magnificent!
Two brothers face the fight of a lifetime – and the wreckage of their broken family – within the brutal, high-stakes world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting in Lionsgate’s action/drama,WARRIOR. An ex-Marine haunted by a tragic past, Tommy Riordan (Tom Hardy) returns to his hometown of Pittsburgh and enlists his father (Nick Nolte), a recovered alcoholic and his former coach, to train him for an MMA tournament awarding the biggest purse in the history of the sport. As Tommy blazes a violent path towards the title prize, his brother, Brendan (Joel Edgerton), a former MMA fighter unable to make ends meet as a public school teacher, returns to the amateur ring to provide for his family. Even though years have passed, recriminations and past betrayals keep Brendan bitterly estranged from both Tommy and his father.

Aug 30th

Columbia Pictures have let out the hatch this new TV spot for ‘Moneyball.’ The film stars Brad Pitt as Billy Beane, the general manager of Oakland Athletics and follows his attempt to create a competitive team despite Oakland’s unfavourable financial situation. ‘Moneyball’ is based on the highly acclaimed 2003 book of the same name by Michael M. Lewis. Alongside Brad Pitt the film stars Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Art Howe, manager of the A’s, Jonah Hill, as Peter Brand, Beane’s assistant general manager, Robin Wright, Stephen Bishop, Kathryn Morris, and Chris Pratt. Bennett Miller (Capote) directs the movie from a script by Aaron Sorkin and Steven Zaillian. ‘Moneyball’ is released in cinemas September 23rd in the US, and November 4th in the UK.
Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland A’s and the guy who assembles the team, who has an epiphany: all of baseball’s conventional wisdom is wrong. Forced to reinvent his team on a tight budget, Beane will have to outsmart the richer clubs. The onetime jock teams with Ivy League grad Peter Brand in an unlikely partnership, recruiting bargain players that the scouts call flawed, but all of whom have an ability to get on base, score runs, and win games. It’s more than baseball, it’s a revolution — one that challenges old school traditions and puts Beane in the crosshairs of those who say he’s tearing out the heart and soul of the game.

Lionsgate (via Movieweb) have released this new TV spot for Gavin O’Connor’s Mixed Martial Arts drama ‘Warrior.’ The film stars two of the very best young actors around in Tom Hardy (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises) and Joel Edgerton (Animal Kingdom). As an MMA fan and a keen admirer of both Hardy and Edgerton I’m thoroughly stoked for this flick! ‘Warrior’ opens September 9th in the US, and September 23rd in the UK.

Two New ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ TV Spots – Starring James Franco, Freida Pinto & Andy Serkis
Jul 5th
20th Century Fox have unveiled these two new TV spots for Rupert Wyatt’s (The Escapist) highly-anticipated sci-fi drama flick ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes.’ I’ve been comprehensively won over by this movie, my enthusiasm has been steadily rising as more and more promotional material is released. I can’t ignore the fact that the films title is pants though – ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’…..really?? The film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Tom Felton, Tyler Labine, Brian Cox and Andy Serkis portraying a super intelligent ape with motion capture. ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ arrives in cinemas August 5th in the US and August 12th in the UK.
An origin story in the true sense of the word, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco. The film is a reality-based cautionary tale — a science fiction/science-fact blend where mankind’s hubris leads to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. Oscar(R)-winning visual effects house WETA Digital – employing certain of the groundbreaking technologies developed for “Avatar” – will render, for the first time ever in the film series, photo-realistic apes rather than costumed actors.
