Watch The First Five Minutes Of Duncan Jones ‘Source Code’ – Starring Jake Gyllenhaal & Michelle Monaghan
Mar 14th
Yahoo! Movies have generously made available the first five minutes of Duncan Jones highly anticipated sci-fi thriller ‘Source Code.’ I’ve got a press screening for this film tommorow, I’m really looking forward to it, really, REALLY looking forward to it! I loved Jones’ previous movie ‘Moon,’ I’ve got a lot of faith in this being another gem. ‘Source Code’ comes to cinemas April 1st, 2011. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gyllenhaal’s stubble-beard, Vera Farmiga, Michelle Monaghan, Jeffrey Wright and Russell Peters.
When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he’s ever known, he learns he’s part of a government experiment called the “Source Code,” a program that enables him to cross over into another man’s identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack. Filled with mind-boggling twists and heart-pounding suspense, Source Code is a smart action-thriller directed by Duncan Jones (Moon) also starring Michelle Monaghan (Eagle Eye, Due Date), Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, The Departed), and Jeffrey Wright (Quantum of Solace, Syriana).

If you’re a complete sucker for mystery-thrillers, and if you have a penchant for people running around in suit‘s this film should definitely be your bowl of rice. New Poster For Peter Weir’s The Way Back – Starring Colin Farrell, Ed Harris & Jim Sturgess
Dec 1st
This new poster has been released online for Peter Weir’s wonderful looking ‘The Way Back’ via IMPA. I’ve been sold on this film ever since it was announced. From what I’ve seen it looks like after five Oscar nominations Peter Weir (Master And Commander, The Truman Show, Witness) may be in the running again to bring home that faceless gold man. The cast he has assembled is stellar in Colin Farrell, Ed Harris, Jim Sturgess, Mark Strong and Saoirse Ronan. I’ve got a screening for this tomorrow and I can’t wait! The Way Back is set for release December 26th.
The Way Back is the fact-based story of the escape of soldiers from a Siberian gulag in 1940. It is based on several sources, most notably the Slavomir Rawicz book The Long Walk: The True Story of a Trek to Freedom. The book is Rawicz’s account of being captured by the Red Army in 1939 and his journey to freedom with other inmates. The group crossed the Siberian arctic, the Gobi desert and the Himalayas, finally settling in Tibet and India.
Two New Images From James Gunn’s ‘Super’ – Starring Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page & Kevin Bacon
Nov 30th
Two new images have been released online for James Gunn’s bat sh*t crazy looking film ‘Super’. Even though this movie looks like it’s a few fries short of a happy meal, I’ve got full confidence it will be a blast. ‘Super’ stars Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler, and Kevin Bacon.
Frank (Rainn Wilson) is an average guy who transforms himself into superhero The Crimson Bolt after his wife Sarah (Liv Tyler) hooks up with a smooth-talking drug dealer, Jacques (Kevin Bacon). What Frank lacks in superpowers, he makes up for with a trusty wrench in his one-man war on crime. But every superhero needs a sidekick. Enter Libby (Ellen Page), a cute psychopath working at the local comic book store. Transforming into “Boltie”, Libby teams up with Frank to take Jacques down. From the surprising imagination of writer-director James Gunn (Slither) comes Bolt and Boltie, a crazed crime fighting duo for the XBox generation. They’re here to save the day, or at least to beat you up.
