Accidental Sexiness have got their mitts on this new batch of images of Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis on the set of Jay Roach‘s upcoming political comedy ‘Dog Fight.’ The movie, formerly titled ‘Southern Rivals,’ is about rival politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) in a small congressional district in South Carolina.

The likes of Jason Sudeikis, John Lithgow, Dylan McDermott, Brian Cox, Josh Lawson, Gary Grubbs, P.J Byrne, and Dan Aykroyd also star in the film, which is scheduled for a August 10th release. Shawn Harwell and frequent Ferrell collaborator Chris Henchy wrote the screenplay. I’ve got high hopes for this film, I’m extremely intrigued to see how Ferrell and Galifianakis’ unique comedy styles work together. Expect to see a teaser trailer soon.

I REALLY like the look of this film, so much so that the caps-locked “REALLY” is FULLY justified…..as is that “FULLY”!

This red-band trailer has hit the interwebs for the 30-minute Beastie Boys inspired short film ‘Fight For Your Right – Revisited.’ The trailer is pretty random, from what I can make out the young Beastie Boys, played by Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, and Elijah Wood, meet their future selves, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, and Will Ferrell and have a dance off….or something like that!

The star-studded short also features cameos from the likes of Stanley Tucci, Susan Sarandon, Will Arnett, Steve Buscemi, Rainn Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones and Ted Danson amongst a whole host of others. The short is released in conjunction with the Beastie Boys’ new album, Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2, on May 3rd.

I’ve always got time for a quirky tale, I know Will Ferrell isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I personally think (for the most part) he’s pretty damn hilarious. ‘Everything Must Go’ is more of a dramatic role than what we’ve come to expect from Ferrell. The film is the directional debut for commercial director Dan Rush, who also wrote the script based on a Raymond Carver short story. Check out the trailer below.

Nick comes face-to-face with a life turned inside out and discovers in total exposure an unexpected path to renewal.

DreamWorks Animation have released four new UK posters for their upcoming movie Megamind – which features a stellar voice cast in Will Ferrell (as Megamind), Brad Pitt (as Metro Man), Tina Fey and Jonah Hill. To be honest this doesn’t really tickle my fancy, the trailer was a pretty humour free-zone. I’ve never been biggest the DreamWorks fan as it is, that being said How to Train Your Dragon was a joy, if this is half as fun as that movie I’d be satisfied, I had a real blast with that flick! Megamind is released in cinemas the 3rd of December in the UK and the 5th of November in the US.

FunnyOrDie have released a great new video featuring Will Ferrell’s character in The Other Guys – Detective Alan Gamble – recording a recruitment ad for the New York Police Department. As expected it doesn’t exactly go to plan – to hilarious effect. The Other Guys get’s the unofficial honour of two thumbs up for potential excellence, it looks like a fun ride. The Other Guys is a buddy-cop action/comedy from the Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Step Brothers creators Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the film stars Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in the two lead roles and has an incredibilistic supporting cast of Rob Riggle, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendez, Steve Coogan, Anne Heche, Damon Wayons Jr, Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson. The Other Guys is in US cinemas the 6th August, the UK release date is the 2nd of September.

Set in New York City, The Other Guys follows Detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell), a forensic accountant who’s more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg), a tough guy who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an unfortunate run-in with Derek Jeter. Allen and Terry idolize the city’s top cops, Danson and Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don’t quite go as planned.
