cowboys and aliens comic con daniel craig First Look At Daniel Craig In Jon Favreaus Cowboys & Aliens

This weekend at Comic Con Director Jon Favreau, along with Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach and Harrison Ford unveiled Cowboys and Aliens with roughly ten minutes of footage and a quick panel Q & A . For those not attending Dreamworks/Universal have now unveiled the first photo from film, with Daniel Craig as Jake Lonergan. The cast is stacked with talent – Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, Keith Carradine and Paul Dano, I for one have a hunch that this will be spectacularly awesome! Cowboys and Aliens will be hitting cinemas July 29, 2011. Check out the synopsis below.

1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger (Daniel Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don’t welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford). It’s a town that lives in fear. But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known.

Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he’s been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force. With the help of the elusive traveler Ella (Olivia Wilde), he pulls together a posse comprised of former opponents-townsfolk, Dolarhyde and his boys, outlaws and Apache warriors-all in danger of annihilation. United against a common enemy, they will prepare for an epic showdown for survival. Cowboys and Aliens comes to theaters July 29th, 2011 and stars Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig, Jon Favreau, Noah Ringer, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine. The film is directed by Jon Favreau.

New Trailer For Conviction – Starring Sam Rockwell & Hilary Swank

betty anne waters movie image sam rockwell and hilary swank New Trailer For Conviction Starring Sam Rockwell & Hilary Swank

When they don’t follow the clichés, I’m a sucker for these ‘inspirational, based on a true story’ type flicks, they really showcase what can be made possible through determination. Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence and like no other genre of film they highlight the best and worst sides of human nature. I’m a massive fan of Sam Rockwell, he sit’s comfortably in my top 5 actors working today. I really hope he gets some awards season love for this, he was robbed last year for Moon *wildly waves fist*. Conviction hit’s US cinemas October 15th. Not too sure on a UK release date yet.

CONVICTION is the inspirational true story of a sister’s unwavering devotion to her brother. When Betty Anne Waters’ (two-time Academy® Award winner Hilary Swank) older brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell) is arrested for murder and sentenced to life in 1983, Betty Anne, a Massachusetts wife and mother of two, dedicates her life to overturning the murder conviction. Convinced that her brother is innocent, Betty Anne puts herself through high school, college and, finally, law school in an 18 year quest to free Kenny. With the help of best friend Abra Rice (Academy Award nominee Minnie Driver), Betty Anne pours through suspicious evidence mounted by small town cop Nancy Taylor (Academy Award nominee Melissa Leo), meticulously retracing the steps that led to Kenny’s arrest. Belief in her brother – and her quest for the truth – pushes Betty Anne and her team to uncover the facts and utilize DNA evidence with the hope of exonerating Kenny.

New Iron Man 2 Trailer And Images

iron man 2 downey New Iron Man 2 Trailer And Imagesiron man 2 rockwell New Iron Man 2 Trailer And Imagesiron man 2 samuel New Iron Man 2 Trailer And Imagesiron man 2 scarlett New Iron Man 2 Trailer And Images

I’ve been really looking forward to this, the first Iron Man film helped raise the bar of Comic Book inspired films, along with The Dark Knight (to a lesser extent but it raised the bar all the same). This trailer has added to my excitement,  it’s rare with a film that I like EVERY actor, especially an action film. Also I’m extra jealous that Scarlett Johanssen is spoken for, Ryan Reynold’s I just want to put it out there, for 10 seconds after watching the trailer I truly hated you. Look out for this May 7th.

Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark, the wealthy playboy whose exploits as Iron Man are now public knowledge after his admission at the close of the first film. In the follow-up, Stark is pitted against his Russian arch nemesis, Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), and corporate rival Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell). Also making their Marvel debuts are Scarlett Johansson as the sexy Russian spy Black Widow, and Don Cheadle, who takes over the role of Colonel James Rhodes from Terrence Howard

Everybody’s Fine Poster – New Robert Di Nero Film

38381 Everybodys Fine Poster New Robert Di Nero Film

A new Robert Di Nero film doesn’t excite me nearly as much as it should looking at some of the movies he’s featured in, he is undoubtedly one of the greats and has given us film lovers a number of iconic characters and has been a part of some of the greatest films of all time, but for me he hasn’t had the best track record the last decade. To be fair to him he doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone, he’s cemented himself as a great but as a huge fan it’s a hard pill to swallow seeing him in Mean Streets, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull to being a part of crap family comedies. Everybody’s Fine has been getting much better reviews than his last couple films so I’m gonna check it out, it is based on Guiseppe Tornatore’s 1990 Italian film, Stanno tutti bene,.The film follows Robert De Niro’s character’ Frank Goode’ who as a widow, embarks on an impromptu road trip to reconnect with each of his grown children (Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell) only to discover that their lives are far from picture perfect.

Everybody’s Fine is out on February 19 in the UK.
