With the films impending release on June 17th Warner Bros/DC Comics have unleashed a hefty eight new clips from Martin Campbell’s (Casino Royale, Edge Of Darkness) upcoming superhero blockbuster ‘Green Lantern.’ The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Jon Tenney, Geoffrey Rush, Tim Robbins, Angela Bassett and Michael Clarke Duncan.
Bringing the enduringly popular superhero to the big screen for the first time, “Green Lantern” stars Ryan Reynolds (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”). In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Movies have released this extended clip from Martin Campbell’s (Casino Royale, Edge Of Darkness) ’Green Lantern,’ giving us a look at Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) getting an introduction to the homeworld of the Green Lantern Corps from Tomar-Re (Geoffrey Rush). The film also stars the likes of Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Jon Tenney, Tim Robbins, Angela Bassett and Michael Clarke Duncan. ‘Green Lantern’ hits cinemas June 17th.

Christoph Waltz As Chudnofsky Featurette For ‘The Green Hornet’

You wanna know the prime reason I’m excited about ‘The Green Hornet?’ The film stars Oscar winner Christoph Waltz as the lead villain, more importantly to my manly sensibility’s, he’s sporting an epic beard and running around with a double-barreled hand gun….I’m in! The Green Hornet comes to cinemas January 14th, 2011 and stars Waltz, Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Edward Furlong, Edward James Olmos, Tom Wilkinson, and Sterling Cooper.
Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the son of LA’s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene – until his father (Tom Wilkinson) mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father’s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato (Jay Chou), they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves – protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets.
Using all his ingenuity and skill, Kato builds the ultimate in advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower. Rolling in a mobile fortress on wheels and striking the bad guys with Kato’s clever gadgets, The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves, and with the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they begin hunting down the man who controls LA’s gritty underworld: Benjamin Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz). The good folks over at Entertainment Weekly have provided us with an EXTREMELY brief look at Chris Evans (not the ginger one) in Joe Johnston’s upcoming Marvel Comics adaptation ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ for an upcoming set visit segment. The film comes to cinemas July 22nd, 2011 and stars Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Neal McDonough, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Hayley Atwell and Toby Jones. Look out for the set video in the coming days.
During the dark days of World War II, army grunt Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to be injected with an experimental serum that turns him into the superhero known as Captain America.
